How to share screenshots

The best way to share stuff on Twyne is by using screenshots. You can take a screenshot of anything on your screen and paste it in to Twyne instantly. It's fast and flexible.

On Mac, use cmd+ctrl+shift+4 to take a screenshot of a specific portion of your screen. On Windows, use the Snipping Tool and select rectangular snip. Paste the screenshot in to Twyne by using cmd+v or ctrl+v.


How to share PDFs

There are two ways to share PDFs: you can upload them from your device by clicking the upload button on the dock or you can drag and drop the PDF file from your computer in to Twyne. It's as easy as that.


How to share images from your device

As with PDFs, there are two ways to share images from your device: you can use the upload button on the dock or you can drag and drop them in to Twyne.


How to share images from the web

You can copy and paste any image from the web straight in to Twyne. Simply right-click on the image and choose Copy Image. Return to Twyne and paste the image using cmd+v or ctrl+v.


You can share links to websites or videos on Twyne. Copy the link from your address bar and paste it in to Twyne using cmd+v or ctrl+v. It will appear as a clickable link in the top left hand corner of the screen for all users.


How to share presentations

To share a presentation, you first need to save it as a PDF. You can do this straight from Powerpoint or Keynote. Once you have the PDF file, you can share it using the upload button or by dragging and dropping it in to Twyne.


How to share spreadsheets

If you want to share part of the spreadsheet, take a screenshot of the area of interest and paste it in to Twyne.

If you want to share the whole spreadsheet, you first need to save it as a PDF. You can do this straight from Excel or Numbers. Once you have the PDF file, you can share it using the upload button or by dragging and dropping it in to Twyne.

How to share snapshots

Our snapshot tool lets you take a picture of something using your webcam and immeadiately share it on Twyne. Click the camera icon on the dock and choose Take Snapshot.
